The Kitchen Is Coming!

After winning our first Bright Ideas grant, we immediately got to work sourcing appliances and accessories to create the open concept kitchen that will take us to a Level 3 restaurant. Some things have been easy to find; others have taken a little longer. But, at last, we finally have an installation date for our range hood and appliances!

We will have to close the interior to customers during the hood installation Monday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 23, but we will set up our mini drink bar under the awning and provide to-go drinks as usual on those days. Outdoor seating will also be available. We would greatly appreciate your patronage during those days to keep us going, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in on Thursday morning, April 24.

So, I know the big question now is, “When will you start serving breakfast and brunch?” The answer is, “When we pass all inspections!” We hope to get those lined up very quickly after everything is installed, but the plan is to be ready to roll by May 1st at the latest. We will keep you posted here and on social media as plans progress. There will likely be some “soft opening” days before the official launch, so keep your eyes open, and you may just get to try Chef Christian’s delicious menu before you expect!
