And away we go!

Thanks to 57 backers pledging, our Kickstarter Campaign was fully funded on July 20, and we are officially “off to the races” with our build-out! The electricians and plumbers are in this week, running conduits and new pipes for all our equipment. Hopefully we will get the back counter built out in the next couple of weeks. Our equipment comes in around the second week in August, and once it’s all in place, we will undergo Engineering and Health Department inspections (pray hard—ha ha!). Finally, we will train staff and do some more test tastings on guinea pigs…er…willing recruits. As soon as we are ready to open, you will know! Watch this space….

I’m working on our next downtown business feature—this time on Lunation, who supplies our wonderful teas. I’ll share here on the blog and on social media when that’s ready. We couldn’t be happier to have a local source for excellent, expertly blended tea.
