Exciting changes coming in 2022!

We have had a fantastic first three months in business, and we are very excited about the new year and what we can do in it. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic patronage and excellent feedback. We have listened to and considered all of your suggestions, and we’ve come up with a plan for 2022 that we hope will please everyone.

First off, we are extending our daytime hours to 3:30 on weekdays and Saturdays. We’ve had a lot of requests from the school pick-up crowd, and we’d love to be able to serve you before you have to wait in the car for a stretch! Do remember that you can always order ahead for curbside or in-store pickup using our website or the Toast app.

Secondly, we are eliminating the regular Saturday evening hours, as we just didn’t have enough interest to keep them going. However, we will be offering tickets for exclusive catered events one or two evenings a month. Our first event will be a tea and pastry pairing Saturday, January 15, at 7pm. Our tea expert, Dee, from Lunation, will demonstrate how to properly choose and steep loose-leaf teas to pair with both sweet and savory dishes. You’ll be able to sample those dishes thanks to our amazing caterer, Gisele, who sources local ingredients and creates divine canapés and sweets (yes, we will have gluten-free options!). We look forward to announcing all the details and opening up for ticket sales next week. We will have space for 18 diners to join us, and we promise a thoroughly delightful evening of good food, excellent tea, and enlightening conversation around a table laid with antique teacups and silver.

Finally, you will see some new faces behind the counter in the new year, as we rearrange the schedule a bit and welcome two new gals to the team. We will introduce the whole crew here on the website in January, and we all look forward to serving you in our joyful little corner of Downtown; Happy New Year!
